Backstory
Nelru was born in the now destroyed village of Qerel Iloh. She doesn’t know much of her heritage or her family, as she was either orphaned or abandoned by her parents (she doesn’t know which).Found wandering on the plains of Othard by a Gridanian mage, Nelru has no memory of what has happened. Bearing witness to this dirty and lost child, the kind-hearted traveler decided to adopt her. She traveled with her guardian to the varying corners of the world and was taught the importance of culture, traditions, and that vast amounts of knowledge came not only from books and tomes but from stories and lore. Her upbringing was strict (but fair) and conservative. Regardless, she is grateful because she knows that there are many who wouldn’t have had the opportunities that she had.After reaching adulthood Nelru traveled to Old Sharlayan where she was accepted as a disciple at the Studium. Here she learned to manipulate corporeal aether through the use of noulith, earning her the title of Sage. Since leaving the Studium Nel has continued to travel and gain knowledge of aetherial arts and hone her craft. She knows there is some great destiny out there for her, she has yet to grab hold of it.Outside of honing her craft Nelru enjoys dancing, so much so that she spent a summer abroad participating in one of Thavnair’s famous troupe. When not adventuring she can be found enjoying a nice wine, reading a book, enjoying a hot bath, or socializing with her friends.She hasn’t been home in a while and for that she feels guilty.

Part of the reason I do RP is to meet new people. Ideally, I'd like to use this as a means of making new friends that I can hang out with in and out of FFXIV. Currently, I have a bit of a pipe dream to build a community where like minded gamers can together to hang out in a judgement free space.RP Notce:
